Road Trip to Key West
In Key Largo, you can snorkel at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, or check out the Laura Queen Wild Bird Sanctuary. The History of Diving Museum in Islamorada offers a deep dive (pun intended) into the evolution of underwater exploration, and at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, you can take a dip with the sea’s most intelligent and friendly creatures. Between Knights Key and Little Duck Key comes the most magical part of the drive. As you cross the Seven Mile Bridge, which is as long as the name would suggest, dazzling aquamarine waters extend to the horizon in all directions. We promise you’ve never seen a seascape like this before. On Big Pine Key, keep an eye out for the Key Deer, an endangered species that roam freely. You’re now crossing into the Lower Keys, which culminate in the jewel of our archipelago, Key West and its most luxurious resort, the Perry Hotel & Marina Key West. Don’t worry, we’ll have a parking spot ready for you.
