The 41st Annual Race World Offshore World Championships in Key West

Across much of the country, temperatures are plunging and folks are bracing for a long, cold winter. Here in Key West, though, tropical sun abounds and the excitement is palpable as we prepare for the 41st annual Race World Offshore World Championships. From Sunday, November 6, to Sunday, November 13, elite professional powerboat racers and fans the world over will journey to our beautiful island to experience the thrill of competition and a full week of race-related events. Festivities begin on Sunday, November 6, as spectators flock to Duval Street for the World’s Fastest Boat Parade. Races will take place throughout the day the following Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with awards presented directly after each race. Other exciting events throughout the week include concerts at Truman Waterfront Park, the second annual Build-a-Boat Contest, and the Friday Parade of Boats. Though it’s possible to watch the races from land, there’s no better seat than the deck of your own vessel out on the water, and there’s no better marina in all the Keys than the one right here at the Perry Hotel and Marina Key West.
