Food is Fresh

Matt's is really good. The food is fresh and healthy and they staff is knowledgeable about providing good suggestions and being very accommodating. The sunset over the dock and distant music was perfect. Love the decor and style and great lightening fire pit etc. we will be back for sure!

Highly Recommend

Great vibe, great service and delicious food. Fish and chips super light and crispy. The kale salad with blackened shrimp was a good size and very delicious. Nice wine and beer list. The key lime tart is fresh and creamy with just the right amount of tart-- a must try! Excellent choice if you want to stay at the hotel and relax.

Sweet and Personable

Highly recommend the snapper tacos! My girlfriend and I also enjoyed the tuna tartar, the rice chips that came with it was the perfect pairing. The manager was fantastic, so sweet and personable. Matt's is also dog friendly which is always a plus for us!

Clean Nautical Feel

Ambience is like oH Em gee !! Love the clean nautical feel with a nice view of the marina . Service was excellent and food was delicious ! Had breakfast twice at this spot , chicken and waffles day 1 and crab Benedict day 2 both equally sumptuous !

Since then, he has amassed some impressive experience under the tutelage of critically acclaimed chefs at Relais & Chateaux Properties and while training under chefs Robert Carter and Graham Daily at Charleston’s renowned Peninsula Grill. Chef Fortuna also held positions at Crave Kitchen, Heirloom Eats, and Huck’s Lowcountry Table, most recently joining us from the Florida Keys’ Little Palm Island Resort & Spa.
