Your Key West Itinerary
The Perry Experience
Whether you’re driving down US 1 or pulling into The Perry Marina, making it to The Keys and the Southernmost Point are bucket list experiences. Here at The Perry Hotel & Marina, it’s our mission to make that experience one you’ll remember for years to come, and hopefully, one you’ll want to repeat. While one page won’t do the experience justice, we do want to get you thinking about what your Key West adventure might look like at The Perry…
A Day at The Perry Hotel & Marina
Rise ‘n’ Shine
Wake up to the sun peeking out over the clouds from your full-length windows of your Saltwater Studio and brew yourself some Joe. Grab your robe and have a seat on the balcony, coffee in hand, enjoying the stillness of the marina. Read More
Breakfast @ Matt’s
Head downstairs to Matt’s Stock Island Kitchen where you can already smell the Cuban coffee brewing and the biscuits fresh from the oven. You go for buttermilk pancakes because they look like they will melt in your mouth (and oh, they do!), along with a michelada with bacon (yes, bacon), because vacation. Tomorrow you’ll try the biscuits because someone at the table didn’t want to share. Read More
Meet with Johnny, the Concierge
The front desk made it a point to mention you stop by and see Johnny Vance, The Perry Concierge, and you find him just off the lobby. Johnny immediately greets you with that big radio voice of his and says, “You look like a seafarin’ man” and proceeds to tell you how one of the guests caught a 20-pounder just last week and you’re sold. Tomorrow you’re on the next fishing charter out with Captain Tanner, but today you’ll settle for a sandbar trip leaving from The Perry Marina. Read More
Lounge at the Pool
You head up to the room to grab some provisions before the sandbar trip — hat, sunscreen, swimsuits, but you notice you’ve got some time to kill before the excursion, so you decide to check out the pool and grab chairs in the shade. You’re almost immediately greeted by a server, asking if you’d like something to drink, and you think to yourself, “Why not? We’re on vacation and it’s 5 o’clock somewhere!” You have the daiquiri and the wife the mojito, because, after all, you’re only 90 miles from Cuba…Read More
Key West Adventures
Well, one drink turns into two, but luckily your poolside server had the foresight to get you some snacks on board before making your way to the marina for the sandbar trip. Before you know it, you’re greeted by your captain, handed life vests and setting sail. As the Boca Chica Sandbar looms in the distance you can’t believe your eyes. You’d always heard Key West wasn’t the best place for beaches, but this looks just like the Caribbean! Your wife even finds a starfish and snaps a photo. Read More
Live Music & Happy Hour @ Salty Oyster
Step off the boat at The Perry Marina and head straight for Salty Oyster, The Perry’s open-air bar right on the marina. This vacation thing has got you workin’ up an appetite. Good thing it happens to be happy hour — and this time it actually is 5 o’clock. You and the wife order a few rounds and have a grand time dancing to the live band. Read More
Rest, Rinse, Repeat.
By 8pm, you’re both beat and opt to retire to the room and its cloudlike pillowtop mattress and divine sheets, ready to do it all over again tomorrow. Read More
